Amazon India has brought back its #DeliverTheLove campaign this Diwali with a new film centred on Bittu, a young man who finds a quiet, unexpected way to tell his elder siblings how much he misses them. The story speaks to families scattered across cities, who often long for the traditions and rituals that once brought everyone together for the festival.
The film opens with Bittu watching a child being sent off to fetch a bottle by his elder siblings as they prepare to light a rocket. The moment pulls him back to his own childhood, when being the youngest meant a share in countless playful traditions and small, happy memories with his brother and sister.
Now living apart from them, Bittu decides to act on that nostalgia. Through Amazon, he sends each sibling an empty glass bottle, accompanied by a handwritten note recalling moments they once shared. The gift looks odd at first, but his siblings instantly grasp its meaning. It reminds them of the bond that has stayed intact despite the miles between them, and the story closes with a Diwali reunion.
At its heart, #DeliverTheLove champions the idea that the most meaningful gift is one’s presence. By drawing on the familiar dynamics of sibling relationships, the campaign shows how shared memories, thoughtful gestures and time together can rekindle connections and make the festival of lights even more special.
