Birla Opus Paints has launched a new campaign for Birla Opus Alldry, titled ‘Wall dry ke liye Alldry’, targeting a common home-maintenance habit: delaying waterproofing until seepage and damp patches become visible. The campaign encourages homeowners to act before water damage sets in.
Conceptualised by BBDO India, part of Omnicom Advertising India, the three-film campaign features actors Vikrant Massey and Jagapathi Babu in relatable homeowner situations. Rather than dwelling on leakage and wall damage, the films focus on the everyday frustrations that follow delayed action. One shows a homeowner whose Sunday is ruined by regret over not waterproofing in time, while another explores the lost credibility of repeatedly promising to fix the problem and never doing it.
Using humour and familiar domestic scenes, the campaign argues that waterproofing should be part of the painting process rather than a repair job after damage appears. Birla Opus Alldry offers long-lasting protection, backed by crack-proof technology and an exterior waterproofing warranty of up to 14 years.
Inderpreet Singh, Head, Marketing, Birla Opus Paints, said homeowners often overlook waterproofing until damage is visible, and the campaign highlights the cost of that delay. Josy Paul, Chairman and Group Chief Creative Officer, BBDO Group India, said the biggest household problems often begin with small acts of procrastination, and the films turn that truth into a simple call to action.
