Flipkart has launched a new campaign featuring two television commercials focused on its fashion and home categories, reinforcing its positioning around discovery-led shopping. Conceptualised by Leo Burnett, the films capture how modern consumers often discover products organically rather than through planned purchases.

The campaign is built on the insight that shopping today is increasingly influenced by everyday interactions and spontaneous inspiration. Instead of a structured buying journey, consumers often come across products through conversations, social cues and shared experiences.

The fashion film follows a newly married woman preparing for a family function. As she interacts with family members, her outfit choices evolve, showcasing a variety of apparel and accessories available on Flipkart. The narrative highlights how personal style is often shaped by real-life inputs and last-minute discoveries.

The home film, on the other hand, is set across neighbouring terraces, where casual conversations between women lead to the exchange of ideas around home décor and everyday essentials. These interactions subtly influence purchase decisions, reflecting how small inspirations can transform living spaces.

Pratik Arun Shetty, vice president – growth and marketing at Flipkart, noted that shopping has become a more fluid and enjoyable experience, where users encounter products along the way rather than actively searching for them. He added that categories like fashion and home are seeing strong engagement driven by trend relevance and inspiration-led browsing.

The campaign showcases a wide range of products, including sarees, jewellery, accessories and home décor items, and is being rolled out across television, digital and social media platforms.

With this initiative, Flipkart aims to position itself as a platform where discovery meets convenience, enabling consumers to explore and express their personal style effortlessly.
