Former Ogilvy Leaders Launch ‘Colloquial’ – A Creative Agency Without a Signature Voice

In a bold departure from conventional agency philosophies, ex-Ogilvy creatives Ishita Misra and Pradyot Mokashi have launched Colloquial-an independent creative agency defined by its belief in having “no voice of its own.” Instead of projecting a signature style or proprietary tone, Colloquial pledges to become a true extension of the brands it serves, prioritising the voice of the consumer, the brand’s ethos, and the power of the idea itself.

The founders bring with them a rich background in advertising and content creation. Ishita Misra, with 12 years of experience across Lowe Lintas, Tilt, and Ogilvy, has worked on impactful campaigns such as Dream11’s Ye Apna Game Hai, The Pink Foundry’s Skin Is Stronger Than You Think, and Sprite’s Thand Rakh. Pradyot Mokashi’s creative portfolio spans Mullen Lintas, TVF, Tilt, and Ogilvy, where he contributed to standout work like Dream11’s Ye Game Hai Mahaan, Livspace’s Don’t Try This At Home, and ITC Bingo! Mad Angles.

“Our goal is to create work rooted in culture, shaped with craft, and built to last-in memory, in meaning, and in the market,” said Misra.

Mokashi added, “We’re not here to create advertising for advertising’s sake. Colloquial is built to represent the brand and its audience, not the agency’s ego. We believe the best ideas come from culture-and the greatest ones shape it.”

With clarity, craft, and conviction as its foundation, Colloquial promises a new kind of creative partnership-one that listens more than it speaks.
