Instamart introduces SPYRA in India ahead of Holi

Instamart has announced a partnership with German water blaster brand SPYRA, bringing its products to India for the first time ahead of the Holi and summer season. The collaboration expands Instamart’s festive portfolio, adding a premium, experience-driven category to its existing range.

Designed and engineered in Germany, SPYRA water blasters feature precision-shot technology and quick reload mechanisms, positioning them as a high-performance alternative to traditional water guns. Their India debut comes at a time when consumers are increasingly seeking elevated, novelty-led festive products, particularly for occasions like Holi that centre on outdoor celebration and play.

Manender Kaushik, Head – Instamart, Alternate Business, noted that quick commerce has seen growing traction for both planned and last-minute festive purchases over the past few years. He added that introducing SPYRA aligns with the platform’s strategy of offering a broad assortment-from eco-friendly colours and balloons to premium global brands-delivered directly to customers’ homes.

Sebastian Walter, Founder and CEO of SPYRA, said India’s strong culture of celebration and outdoor festivities makes it a strategic market for the brand. He described the partnership as a step toward building SPYRA as a premium offering in the country.

SPYRA’s India operations will be handled in collaboration with Mumbai-based fashion-tech startup Bella Lifestyle, led by founder Suchi Sharma, supporting the brand’s local rollout and distribution.
