JioStar Launches Second Edition of Brand Spotlight for IPL 2025

JioStar is unveiling the second edition of Brand Spotlight for TATA IPL 2025, a premium advertising opportunity showcasing select brand commercials exclusively during the crucial first six overs of matches. This year, the initiative expands to include linear TV through Star Sports, beginning with the opening game.

Marquee brands participating include My11Circle, Campa Energy, GPay, Birla Opus, Poker Baazi, PhonePe, Sprite, Dream 11, TVS, Asian Paints, MRF, Joy Consumer Products, and Carat Lane.

“The opening match at IPL is a marquee moment in India’s sporting calendar,” says Ishan Chatterjee, Chief Business Officer at JioStar. “Brand Spotlight places brands at the center of this excitement, providing a one-of-a-kind platform to engage millions at scale.”

New this year is a dedicated “Brand Spotlight” content tray in the JioHotstar app, offering behind-the-scenes insights into IPL campaigns from brand leaders and creative teams.

The initiative aims to create a ‘Super Bowl moment’ for Indian advertising, following last year’s success where six key brands dominated the early overs of the KKR vs. RCB opener with uncluttered, appointment-driven visibility.
