JioStar Unites Bigg Boss’ Four Southern Hosts for September 6 Multi-Language Premiere

JioStar has released a new promo bringing together the hosts of its four Southern Bigg Boss editions – Vijay Sethupathi (Tamil), Nagarjuna (Telugu), Kichcha Sudeepa (Kannada) and Mohanlal (Malayalam) – as all four seasons prepare to launch simultaneously on September 6, 2026.

The promo is built around a crossover moment: the four stars, each carrying their own loyal fanbase within their respective markets, share the screen in a playful narrative that uses food from each host’s home state to tie the four cultures together. It’s designed to build buzz across all four language markets at once, leaning on the hosts’ familiarity with their audiences rather than introducing new faces.

Hosts have long been central to the Bigg Boss format – their weekend confrontations, humor and commentary typically keep the show’s conversations alive well beyond the episode itself. Bringing four such hosts into a single promo is a way for JioStar to amplify that effect across markets simultaneously.

Krishnan Kutty, Head of Entertainment (South) at JioStar, said each host carries a distinct bond with their audience and called the promo an attempt to unite the four personalities in a way that stays true to their individual styles while celebrating Southern culture.

With all four editions launching together, JioStar is positioning this as a unified Bigg Boss moment across the South – even as each season continues to run independently in its own language across JioStar’s TV channels and JioHotstar.
