JioStar, the official broadcast and digital partner of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup India 2025, has launched its new campaign film, “Jersey Wahi Toh Jazba Wahi,” ahead of the highly anticipated tournament. The World Cup, set to be played across India and Sri Lanka, will kick off on September 30, 2025, and will be broadcast live and exclusive on Star Sports Network and JioHotstar.

Conceptualised by BubbleWrap Films, the film is a heartfelt tribute to the power of the India jersey to unite fans across the country. The narrative follows a protagonist who reluctantly wears a Smriti Mandhana jersey to work, only to be inspired by fellow commuters proudly sporting jerseys of India’s women cricketers. The message culminates when even the office lift operator, also donning a Smriti jersey, reminds him: “Virat khelein ya Smriti, jeetega toh India hi na”(Whether it’s Virat or Smriti, India wins either way). This moment transforms the protagonist, who enters his office proudly wearing his jersey, symbolising a shift in perspective.

The campaign aims to rally fans across the country, driving anticipation and building a collective roar of support for Team India as they begin their campaign.
Hosts India will take on co-hosts Sri Lanka in the opening match in Guwahati, setting the stage for what promises to be one of the most exciting editions of the tournament.
