Nearly nine months after its formation, JioStar, the media joint venture between Reliance Industries and Disney, has unveiled its corporate logo and launched a refreshed website.
The new logo features the signature pink “Jio” circle followed by “Star” in bold, clean typography-symbolising a fusion of energy, innovation, and heritage. The brand identity reflects JioStar’s commitment to dynamic content and forward-looking entertainment.
Formed on November 14, 2024, JioStar combines the extensive TV and digital assets of both parent companies. It operates over 130 television channels, including 85 SD, 44 HD, and five free-to-air channels, along with its flagship OTT platform, JioHotstar.
The redesigned website positions JioStar as a global leader at the intersection of content and technology. The company claims to reach over 750 million viewers weekly, reshaping the way India experiences entertainment and live sports.
JioStar recently posted record results for the quarter ending June 2025, with ₹11,222 crore in revenue and an EBITDA of ₹1,017 crore, driven by IPL viewership and subscriber growth. The previous quarter saw revenue of ₹10,006 crore.
Vice Chairman Uday Shankar revealed JioStar is investing $10 billion in Indian content over three years. Content spend rose from ₹25,000 crore in FY24 to a projected ₹33,000 crore in FY26.
With 280+ million subscribers, JioHotstar now rivals global players and stands as India’s largest streaming platform, delivering content across genres and languages to a vast and growing digital audience.
