KJo Stands His Ground in Myntra’s Witty New Ad Campaign

It’s not every day that someone manages to get one up on Karan Johar, and in Myntra’s latest ad, that day didn’t arrive either.

In the playful new spot, a group of stylish, high-society personalities- including Masaba GuptaRatna Pathak ShahNeelam Kothari, and Rohan Joshi-try to shame Johar for shopping on Myntra, especially during sales. Their criticism? Not that he shops too much-but that he dares to buy clothes on discount.

But Johar, always a step ahead, is quick to call out their hypocrisy. In a classic mic-drop moment, he reveals that they, too, secretly love shopping the sales-especially during Myntra’s End of Reason Sale (EORS).

A Natural Fit, On and Off Screen

The film, created by young ad agency Braindad, brilliantly captures the personalities just as they are. There’s an effortless chemistry on screen, with moments so natural that it barely feels like acting-even when Rohan Joshi slips into his Gen Z alter ego.

This isn’t Johar’s first time at the EORS party. He has previously appeared in Myntra EORS campaigns alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kiara Advani. The duo recently starred in another Myntra EORS film, this time featuring director and choreographer Farah Khan.
