La Pink, India’s first beauty brand offering 100% microplastic-free formulations, has unveiled its festive campaign, Purity that Belongs to Our Roots, timed with Lohri and Makar Sankranti. The campaign seamlessly connects cultural traditions with conscious skincare, highlighting the brand’s philosophy that purity underpins rituals, values, and daily self-care.
The film follows a Punjabi woman as she transitions from the warmth of a Lohri bonfire to the calm optimism of a Makar Sankranti sunrise. During Lohri, she lights the bonfire and offers popcorn and peanuts-symbolizing letting go of the unwanted. This act mirrors La Pink’s commitment to eliminating microplastics and unnecessary additives from its products. The narrative then moves into Makar Sankranti, where the morning routine using La Pink Ideal Bright Face Wash, Face Serum, and Body Lotion reflects renewal and fresh beginnings, reinforcing the idea that purity is a consistent, daily practice.
Set against visually rich cultural backdrops, the campaign integrates traditional rituals with skincare rituals, concluding with the protagonist flying a kite at sunrise, her phulkari dupatta lifted by the breeze-symbolizing confidence, balance, and freedom.
Founder Nitin Jain said, “Festivals like Lohri and Makar Sankranti remind us to pause, reflect, and choose what truly belongs in our lives. With this campaign, we extend that thought to skincare-encouraging mindful choices that are rooted, responsible, and free from microplastics.”
By aligning heritage with modern responsibility, Purity that Belongs to Our Roots positions La Pink as a brand that honours culture while offering safe, transparent, and effective skincare solutions, blending tradition and contemporary conscious living in every frame.
