The Advertising Club Madras has announced additional jury chairs for the 44th edition of the MADDYS Awards, its annual celebration of excellence in advertising and marketing. The awards recognise outstanding work across multiple disciplines within the industry.
For the Film & Audio Craft MADDYS, Agnello Dias, co-founder of Spinach Experience Design, will serve as the jury chair. The Design & Print Craft MADDYS category will be led by Preeti Vyas, founder, chairwoman and chief creative officer of Vyas Giannetti Creative. Meanwhile, Rajesh Ramaswamy (RamSam), founder and writer at The Script Room and film-maker at Coconut Films, will chair the Regional Pride (Tamil) MADDYS jury.
Earlier, the club had already announced the jury chairs for other key categories. Ashish Khazanchi of Enormous will head the Creative MADDYS, Anisha Iyer of OMD will lead the Media MADDYS, and Sabyasachi Mitter of ibs Fulcro will chair the Digital MADDYS jury.
The 2026 edition of the MADDYS will recognise work across six categories: Creative, Design & Print Craft, Film & Audio Craft, Regional Pride (Tamil), Digital, and Media. Each category will have a dedicated jury panel led by an industry expert to ensure specialised evaluation.
Surej Salim, president of Advertising Club Madras, noted that the awards underwent a reinvigoration in 2025, introducing separate juries for each category to ensure deeper expertise and more rigorous judging. According to him, the credibility of any awards programme lies in the strength of its jury.
Entries for MADDYS 2026 are open to participants from India and abroad. While most categories accept entries in any language, the Regional Pride (Tamil) category specifically celebrates Tamil-language advertising.
Early bird submissions close on 18 March, with the final deadline set for 10 May. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in July 2026.
