Mantra Group has appointed actor Ranbir Kapoor as its brand ambassador as the Pune-based real estate developer expands into new markets and categories. Founded in Pune in 2007, Mantra now has interests across residential, commercial and retail segments. It has launched branded residences with luxury brand Jacob & Co., entered Mumbai with large-format projects, and continued to grow its luxury portfolio in Pune.
The association will include a new brand film featuring Kapoor and Rohit Gupta, managing director, Mantra Group, and will form part of the ‘The Festival of Choices’ campaign. The developer is also expanding into new micro-markets and categories, including hospitality and branded residences.
Gupta said the foundation built on earning the trust of Pune families has given Mantra the confidence to think beyond individual projects. As the brand has evolved, he said, it needed a personality to represent that journey, pointing to parallels with Kapoor, including starting out in the same year and building distinct identities.
Kapoor said he was drawn to Mantra because it has built its journey over time while continuing to evolve, with a clear ambition to grow and think differently about the spaces it creates. He added that he looks forward to what they build together.
