Meta’s Ad Engine Hits $63 Billion, but Asia-Pacific’s Volume Isn’t Matching Value

Meta’s advertising revenue climbed to $63.06 billion in Q3 2026, up from $59.36 billion in the previous quarter and $50.08 billion in Q3 2025, a 26% year-on-year rise. Ad impressions kept expanding globally, though growth moderated from earlier periods, with the US and Canada slowing compared to last year while Europe and Rest of World held broadly steady.

Asia-Pacific posted the strongest year-on-year impression growth of any region, even as its pace eased from Q3 and Q4 2025 levels and trended down through Q2 2026. Pricing told a different story. The region saw only a marginal rise in average price per ad, while the US and Canada and Europe recorded stronger gains, and Rest of World saw the steepest increase. Higher volumes in Asia-Pacific have clearly not translated into comparable pricing power.

That gap shows up in revenue. The US and Canada remained the largest market at $28.43 billion, followed by Europe at $14.23 billion, Asia-Pacific at $11.53 billion and Rest of World at $8.85 billion. Meta allocates revenue by user location at the time of impression, and it does not separately disclose India’s advertising revenue or pricing.

Mark Zuckerberg said the quarter brought major milestones toward “personal superintelligence,” including the launch of Muse and Muse Wonder, the company’s first frontier model. On costs, marketing and sales took $5 of every $100 in revenue, against $31 for research and development, $21 for cost of revenue and $23 for general and administrative expenses.
