Tawana Burnett, head of top accounts and agencies for APAC at Meta, has been appointed as the jury chair for the Social Content and Influencer Marketing category at the Abby Awards 2026 Powered by The One Club | The One Show. The awards ceremony will take place during Goafest 2026, scheduled to be held in Goa from May 20 to 22.
With over two decades of experience across advertising, technology, and consumer products, Burnett brings extensive global expertise to the role. Throughout her career, she has worked across major markets including the United States, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC, gaining deep insight into the evolving digital and advertising landscape.
At Meta, Burnett collaborates closely with chief marketing officers, agency partners, and business leaders to shape digital advertising and commerce strategies for leading brands. Her role focuses on strengthening partnerships between platforms, agencies, and marketers while driving innovation in digital storytelling and performance marketing.
Before joining Meta, Burnett held key roles at organisations such as Intuit, LeapFrog, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer. During this time, she contributed to brand and product teams working on well-known consumer brands including QuickBooks, Listerine, Advil, and ChapStick.
Her contributions to the industry have also been widely recognised. In 2019, she was featured in Adweek’s Women Trailblazers list for her mentorship initiatives and work supporting women-led businesses. She was later inducted into the Ad Age Global Leading Women Class of 2023 and included in The List in 2024.
Burnett has previously served as a juror at major industry platforms such as Spikes Asia and MAD Stars 2024. She also remains actively involved with several advisory and industry organisations, including the International Advertising Association (IAA) South East Asia and the Ronald McDonald House in New York.
