NDTV Q3 FY26: Revenue Surges 23% QoQ, Losses Widen Amid Rising Costs

NDTV reported a notable increase in its consolidated revenue for the third quarter of FY26, even as losses continued to widen due to higher operating expenses.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, consolidated revenue from operations rose 23 percent sequentially to Rs 150.4 crore, up from Rs 122.3 crore in Q2 FY26. On a year-on-year basis, revenue grew 13.3 percent from Rs 132.7 crore in Q3 FY25. Total consolidated income for the quarter increased 21.8 percent QoQ to Rs 152.2 crore, compared with Rs 125.0 crore in the preceding quarter, reflecting a 13.5 percent rise YoY from Rs 134.2 crore.

Despite strong revenue growth, total expenses climbed to Rs 227.0 crore, up 14.7 percent sequentially and 20.9 percent YoY, driven by higher programming, employee, and operational costs. This surge in expenditure contributed to a wider loss before tax of Rs 80.1 crore, compared with Rs 72.7 crore in Q2 FY26 and Rs 53.9 crore in Q3 FY25. Net loss after tax stood at Rs 80.3 crore, an 8.4 percent increase sequentially and a 44.7 percent rise YoY.

For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, NDTV reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 380.3 crore, up 12.5 percent YoY, with total income at Rs 389.8 crore, reflecting a 13.3 percent increase. The company’s consolidated net loss for the period widened 44 percent to Rs 224.6 crore, underscoring the impact of elevated costs despite sustained income growth.
