Nestlé India’s CMD Suresh Narayanan has issued an urgent advisory regarding fraudulent job listings being circulated under the company’s name across professional networking sites. The food giant has explicitly distanced itself from these deceptive postings designed to exploit job seekers.
“These advertisements are completely false, fake, fraudulent, and misleading,” Narayanan stated in a pointed online message. “I appeal to young talent NOT to respond to or fall prey to these false promises,” he added, expressing personal distress at seeing hopeful candidates being manipulated during their legitimate employment search.
Narayanan voiced particular concern about this troubling trend emerging in what he described as a “new, young & vibrant India,” lamenting the social impact of individuals resorting to “devious means to make a livelihood.”
The company has designated senior executives Vaibhav Chaturvedi and Venkateswaran T.S. to collaborate directly with LinkedIn to develop systemic solutions preventing such fraudulent listings.
This warning serves as a crucial reminder for job seekers to verify opportunities exclusively through official company channels. As digital employment scams grow increasingly sophisticated, Nestlé India encourages heightened vigilance among young professionals navigating online recruitment platforms, emphasizing the importance of thorough verification before engaging with any recruitment communications.
