Nexus Select Malls has expanded its partnership with District by Zomato for the Independence Day weekend, broadening a shopping-focused collaboration to include dining and movies as well.
Running from August 14 to 16, the tie-up gives consumers access to offers spanning shopping, dining and entertainment, all bookable through the District app. The offers include Rs 300 off on dining bills above Rs 1,500, Rs 1,200 off on shopping spends of Rs 10,000 and up to Rs 150 off on two movie tickets.
The collaboration runs alongside Nexus Select Malls’ End of Sadness Sale, which offers discounts of up to 60% across participating brands – bringing retail, food and entertainment under one proposition for the long weekend.
Nishank Joshi, Chief Marketing Officer, Nexus Select Malls, said consumers today see malls as more than shopping destinations – spaces to spend time, discover brands, dine with family and friends, and enjoy entertainment in a single visit. He added that the continued collaboration with District by Zomato reflects this shift in consumer behaviour, and that extending the proposition beyond shopping to dining and movies creates a more connected experience across every stage of the consumer journey.
By folding retail, food and entertainment into one app-led experience, the expanded partnership positions Nexus Select Malls to capture a larger share of festive-weekend footfall, aligning with the broader trend of malls evolving into full-day lifestyle destinations rather than pure retail stops.
