Nikunj Dalmia has unveiled The Broadview, a new digital-first media platform dedicated to business, markets and the economy. Announced in Mumbai on 23 February, the initiative marks his foray into independent publishing after years in business television.
Designed as a multi-format content venture, The Broadview will span YouTube, podcasts, documentaries, OTT-style programming and curated on-ground events. YouTube will serve as the primary distribution hub, supported by long-form video content and in-depth interview series.
Dalmia previously held the role of editor-in-chief at ET Now and ET Now Swadesh, where he interviewed leading CEOs, policymakers and investors. With The Broadview, he aims to build a platform that goes beyond headline reporting to decode the structural forces shaping the economy.
The platform debuts with programming that includes a conversation featuring Dr Arokiaswamy Velumani, founder of Thyrocare, along with podcast episodes featuring investors A. Balasubramanian and Milind Karmakar.
Speaking about the vision, Dalmia said the goal is to create a high-intelligence business platform that blends journalism with storytelling. Rather than merely breaking news, The Broadview intends to provide context, credibility and deeper analysis, placing viewers at the centre of informed conversations.
The YouTube channel is now live, with additional formats and content series slated to roll out in phases over the coming months.
