Nippon Paint Partners Punjab Kings for IPL 2026, Eyes Youth Connect

Nippon Paint India has signed on as an official partner of Punjab Kings for the IPL 2026 season, strengthening its push to build deeper connections with Indian consumers through cricket. As part of the agreement, the brand’s logo will be featured on the right sleeve of the team’s jersey throughout the tournament.

The partnership was unveiled at a launch event attended by senior representatives from both organisations, along with players Yuzvendra Chahal and Shashank Singh.

A key highlight of the collaboration is the introduction of a new mascot, ‘Blobber Sher’, which will play a central role in fan engagement, digital campaigns, and retail activations during the season. The initiative reflects Nippon Paint’s intent to go beyond logo visibility and create interactive brand experiences.

Sharad Malhotra noted that Punjab Kings’ energetic and resilient spirit aligns closely with the brand’s values and its #NayeIndiaKeNayeRang vision. Meanwhile, Mark Titus highlighted IPL’s scale as a powerful platform to engage younger audiences across the country.

From the franchise side, Satish Menon emphasised the alignment in ambition and performance-driven mindset, while commercial leadership echoed the importance of partnering with innovative brands.

With this association, Nippon Paint aims to expand its footprint in India, leveraging IPL’s massive reach to drive visibility, engagement, and long-term brand affinity among a new generation of consumers.
