Niva Bupa unveils ‘Setback se Comeback Tak’ campaign

Niva Bupa Health Insurance has been announced as the Official Health Insurance Principal Partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. To mark the partnership, the company has launched its new brand campaign, ‘Setback se Comeback Tak’, celebrating resilience, recovery and the journey back to health.

The campaign features Olympic medallists Saina Nehwal and Mirabai Chanu, drawing parallels between athletes overcoming injuries and setbacks and individuals recovering from surgeries, illnesses and accidents. Through these stories, Niva Bupa aims to reinforce the importance of quality healthcare and emotional support in helping people rebuild their lives.

According to the insurer, the initiative aligns with its broader commitment to promoting holistic healthcare beyond financial protection. Over the past five financial years, Niva Bupa says it has settled more than 37 lakh claims worth nearly ₹14,000 crore, supporting customers through critical health challenges.

Commenting on the partnership, Nimish Agrawal, Director – Digital Business Unit & Chief Marketing Officer, Niva Bupa Health Insurance, said, “Our partnership with the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games reflects what Niva Bupa stands for-the confidence to come back stronger after a health setback. Every athlete’s success is built on resilience, recovery and determination, and we witness the same spirit in the journeys of our customers every day. Through ‘Setback se Comeback Tak’, we celebrate these inspiring stories and reaffirm our belief that the right healthcare support empowers people to reclaim their lives.”

Sharing her thoughts, Saina Nehwal said recovery is often the toughest part of an athlete’s journey, requiring discipline, patience and belief. She added that the campaign highlights how every successful comeback begins long before returning to the spotlight.

The campaign will be promoted across digital and social media platforms in the lead-up to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, encouraging conversations around health preparedness, recovery and resilience.
