NIVEA has expanded its underarm care portfolio in India with the launch of NIVEA Derma Control; a new range designed to go beyond odor protection and address underarm skin health. The rollout is supported by a brand film featuring actor Taapsee Pannu, who is also the global brand ambassador for NIVEA India.
Positioned at the intersection of skincare and deodorants, the Derma Control range is formulated with Pure Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, and Pro Vitamin B5. According to the brand, the products are aimed at tackling common underarm concerns such as irritation, friction, and uneven skin tone, while also delivering long-lasting freshness.
The range is available in two variants. Eventone focuses on visibly brighter and smoother underarms, while Defend is positioned to protect against daily irritation caused by shaving, waxing, and constant friction. Both variants are offered as roll-ons and aerosol sprays, featuring alcohol-free formulations and up to 72-hour odor protection.
Commenting on the launch, Geetika Mehta, managing director of NIVEA India, said the brand has long believed that underarm skin deserves the same level of care as the rest of the body. She noted that today’s consumers are more ingredient-conscious and are increasingly seeking products that combine effective protection with meaningful skincare benefits.
Taapsee Pannu echoed this sentiment, highlighting the frequent exposure of underarms to irritation during shoots, events, and hair-removal routines. She added that Derma Control stands out by offering real skincare benefits rather than just surface-level coverage.
The NIVEA Derma Control range is now available across retail outlets and e-commerce platforms, with roll-ons priced at ₹249 and aerosol sprays at ₹299.
