Marico has launched a new campaign film for Parachute Advansed Jasmine Coconut Hair Oil. The campaign centres on the brand’s proposition of healthy shine through deep nourishment from coconut and Vitamin E, and celebrates young women stepping into opportunities with confidence.
Set around a singing competition, the film follows a young woman as she prepares to perform on stage. It captures her anticipation before the performance and uses the shine of her hair as a visual cue as she steps forward to showcase her talent.
The film builds on the idea of hair oiling as part of a contemporary beauty routine, linking nourishment and healthy-looking hair with moments when consumers want to feel prepared and confident.
Vikram Karwal, chief marketing officer, India, Marico, said the aspirations of young women today are shaped by a desire to explore new opportunities and define success on their own terms. This, he noted, is changing the role beauty and personal care play in their lives, moving beyond established routines to become part of how they show up for the moments that matter. The campaign, he added, aims to join this conversation in a contemporary and relevant way, not by defining what confidence should look like, but by celebrating those moments.
Conceptualised by Team WPP, the campaign will roll out across television and digital platforms in India. It also aims to strengthen the association between Parachute Advansed Jasmine, coconut and Vitamin E, and healthy shine through deep nourishment.
