Coca-Cola has officially launched its global sports hydration brand Powerade in India, marking its debut as the official sports drink partner of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The entry was announced during India’s Super 8 match in Ahmedabad on February 22, supported by strong on-ground stadium branding.

Powerade will be available from March 2026 in two flavours – Mountain Blast and Fruit Punch – across 250 ml and 500 ml packs, priced at ₹20 and ₹50 respectively. Formulated with Vitamin B3 and electrolytes, the drink is positioned for athletes and fitness enthusiasts seeking hydration support during intense physical activity.

The launch campaign, titled Fuel Your Power, features Shubman Gill and Neeraj Chopra, highlighting the mental and physical resilience behind sporting excellence. Conceptualised by Ogilvy India, the brand film explores the inner battle athletes face during training – where determination pushes forward despite fatigue – positioning Powerade as the fuel that sustains that drive.

Coca-Cola India leadership emphasised that the launch extends beyond the tournament, aiming to build Powerade as a long-term hydration brand aligned with India’s growing sports culture and active lifestyles. Both Gill and Chopra underscored the importance of hydration in preparation and recovery, reinforcing the product’s functional positioning.

With cricket as its entry platform and a strong ambassador lineup, Powerade is set to compete in India’s evolving sports nutrition market.
