Journalist and anchor Shubhankar Mishra has exited NDTV India after a seven-month tenure with the network. Mishra joined NDTV India’s prime-time lineup in July 2025, becoming one of the prominent faces in its evening programming. His departure marks the end of a short but notable chapter in his broadcast career.
Before his stint at NDTV India, Mishra had worked with several leading Hindi news channels, including Aaj Tak, TV9 Bharatvarsh, Zee News and India News. Over the years, he established himself as a familiar face in Hindi television journalism, covering a range of political and social issues while building a strong viewer base.
Beyond traditional television, Mishra commands a significant digital presence, with over 30 million followers across social media platforms. His online reach has positioned him as one of the most recognisable Hindi news personalities among younger audiences, bridging television and digital influence.
Interestingly, Mishra’s professional journey did not begin in journalism. A former engineering aspirant, he reportedly found his calling in news media following a period of introspection influenced by the film 3 Idiots. That shift set him on the path toward broadcast journalism.
As of now, Mishra has not publicly disclosed his next move. Industry observers await further updates on where the seasoned anchor may head next in his career trajectory.
