Star Health and Allied Insurance has launched a new national brand campaign built on the promise, “When India looks up in worry, Star Health answers.” It puts claims support during medical emergencies at the centre.
The insurer says it settles one claim every eight seconds and has settled over 1.6 crore claims to date, with cashless treatment at 16,000+ hospitals and 900+ branches across the country. It completes 20 years of operations this year.
The film follows four families from different parts of India through hospitalisation, uncertainty and money worries, focusing on the moment a claim is approved so families can concentrate on treatment rather than arranging funds. The assurance reaches each family in its own language, ending with an image of India built from the faces of people Star Health has supported. The film was conceptualised by KekuMeku Media and directed by Satyajeet Kadam.
Himanshu Walia, Whole Time Director and Chief Marketing Officer, said the real test of a policy is how it responds when a claim is made, and that worry looks the same in a metro or a small town. Each claim settled, he added, is a family able to focus on recovery instead of cost, and dependable claims support will strengthen trust in health insurance as India moves towards Insurance for All by 2047.
The campaign runs across TV, digital, cinema, outdoor and social media, with a 30-second film, a 15-second cutdown and digital adaptations, in nine languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam and Odia.
