Swiggy has announced the return of the Great Indian Restaurant Festival (GIRF) 2026 on Swiggy Dineout, onboarding popular digital creator Bhuvan Bam as the official festival ambassador. The campaign integrates the much-loved BB Ki Vines universe to position GIRF as India’s largest and most relatable dining celebration.

Live from February 15, 2026, for a two-month period, GIRF 2026 offers diners up to 50% off across more than 40,000 restaurants in 60+ cities. The festival spans a wide range of dining formats including cafés, pubs, bars, luxury dining destinations, and family restaurants. Diners can also unlock an additional 10% instant discount on all HDFC Bank cards, along with 10% Dinecash back on every booking made via Dineout.
Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s theme-‘Bill Half. Party Full.’-taps into a universal dining insight: the bill is often the biggest barrier to celebration. By reducing this friction, Swiggy Dineout aims to increase dining frequency while driving incremental footfalls and sustained revenue for restaurant partners.
The campaign film features Bhuvan Bam’s iconic BB Ki Vines characters-Babloo, Babli, and Sameer-who humorously navigate common diner anxieties around discounts, caps, and fine print, reinforcing the core promise of worry-free savings.
GIRF 2026 also introduces “Crazzzy Deals of the Day,” complimentary cocktails and mocktails at select venues, and extended happy hours. Participating brands include Cafe Coffee Day, Barista, Good Flippin Burgers, Punjab Grill, YouMee, Biergarten, and Ironhill.
The campaign will roll out across digital, social, and creator ecosystems, supported by in-app storytelling and performance-led integrations, cementing GIRF’s position as a marquee dining moment in India’s food-tech calendar.
