Swiggy has announced the expansion of its lifestyle and concierge platform, Crew, across India’s major metros – Bengaluru, Mumbai, and the NCR region – marking a strategic step in its journey beyond food and grocery delivery.
Launched as a pilot earlier this year, Crew functions as a personalized lifestyle assistant, helping users manage a range of everyday and premium tasks – from restaurant reservations, travel planning, and gifting to airport transfers, Aadhaar updates, and even birthday event coordination. The platform blends AI-driven efficiency with human curation, offering a seamless experience for time-conscious urban consumers.
Sharing the update on LinkedIn, Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Food Delivery at Swiggy, said that users are increasingly turning to Crew to simplify both everyday chores and high-end experiences. He described the service as an evolution in how Swiggy defines convenience – moving from delivery to lifestyle management.
Swiggy Co-founder Phani Kishan Addepalli called Crew one of the company’s “most ambitious projects yet,” positioning it as Swiggy’s next big leap toward becoming the “operating system for modern living.”
The expansion highlights a growing trend among India’s urban professionals who value time, personalization, and access. With Crew, Swiggy aims to tap into this evolving lifestyle economy, positioning itself as more than just a delivery app – but a trusted concierge for the modern Indian consumer.
