Taboola Brings Its DeeperDive AI Answer Engine to Motorola’s moto g Lockscreen

Taboola has partnered with Motorola to place its DeeperDive answer engine on the lockscreen of select moto g smartphones. The tool lets users ask questions and explore topics through generative AI-powered answers that draw on content from publishers, along with related stories and added context.

The feature will roll out in phases across select moto g devices through 2026 and 2027. The markets announced so far are the UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico and Argentina. On supported phones, users can reach DeeperDive straight from the lockscreen and browse subjects such as sports, entertainment, finance, travel and politics, then follow related stories and topics from the answers they receive.

The move builds on an existing relationship between the two companies, which already includes personalised content recommendations on select moto g devices and markets. Taboola CEO Adam Singolda said Motorola continues to innovate in how consumers interact with their devices and discover relevant content. He added that DeeperDive offers a new way for people to explore their interests and get useful answers informed by trusted publisher content.

Taboola noted that publishers including USA TODAY Co., HuffPost UK, BuzzFeed Asia and Bangkok Post have integrated DeeperDive into their digital experiences since 2025. The Motorola tie-up extends the product beyond publisher sites and onto the smartphone screen users see first.
