Tata Motors reported a 51% decline in consolidated net profit for Q4 FY25 at ₹8,556 crore, compared to ₹17,528 crore in the same period last year. For the full fiscal year, profit fell to ₹28,000 crore from ₹31,807 crore in FY24. Q4 revenue stood at ₹1.18 lakh crore, while FY25 revenue reached ₹4.36 lakh crore with an EBITDA of ₹57,600 crore.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) posted its tenth consecutive profitable quarter, with Q4 revenue at ₹84,957 crore, down 1.7% year-on-year. FY25 revenue remained flat at ₹3.14 lakh crore. Defender set a new annual sales record with 115,404 units, while Range Rover Sport saw a 19.7% rise in wholesales. JLR CEO Adrian Mardell confirmed strong earnings and teased the upcoming Range Rover Electric.
Tata’s passenger vehicle (PV) segment saw a 13.1% revenue drop in Q4 to ₹12,543 crore, with full-year revenue down 7.5% to ₹48,445 crore. SUVs made up 55% of PV sales, and CNG and EVs were key growth drivers.
Commercial vehicle (CV) volumes declined 4.8% YoY in Q4. However, annual CV revenue reached ₹75,000 crore, supported by a strategic focus on profitable growth, said Executive Director Girish Wagh.
