Urban Jungle Bags Taps Samay Raina & Ashish Chanchlani for Podcast-Style Ad

Urban Jungle Bags has rolled out a quirky new digital campaign featuring comedian Samay Raina and YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, facilitated by Monk Entertainment. The ad takes the shape of a mock podcast, blending casual banter with clever product integration.

The reel opens with Raina welcoming Chanchlani, and the conversation drifts from reminiscing about past collaborations to focusing on the featured backpack. In true Samay Raina style, the humour is meta, with the duo repeatedly circling back to the bag and its key features – including multiple compartments, ample laptop and file storage, and a built-in USB charging slot.

One of the campaign’s funniest moments comes from Raina’s running gag, where he repeatedly reminds viewers that the bag “has a USB slot,” turning a practical feature into a comedic refrain. The conversation also dips into lighthearted territory, with Raina teasing Chanchlani about his recent controversy and collaborations, keeping the tone playful and relatable.

This isn’t Raina’s first time experimenting with the podcast-style ad format. Earlier, he collaborated with creator Apoorva Makhija (The Rebel Kid) for a similar reel for skincare brand Deconstruct, using self-aware humour to naturally weave in product messaging.

By blending comedy, conversation, and product education, Urban Jungle Bags’ latest campaign is designed to appeal to a digitally native audience who prefer engaging, creator-led storytelling over traditional advertising.
