Vikram Karwal has announced a major career transition, bringing an end to an almost 22-year-long association with Mondelez and beginning a new chapter at Marico.
Karwal’s journey with Mondelez started in 2004 and has been marked by several defining professional and personal milestones. Reflecting on his tenure, he shared how his association with iconic brands such as Cadbury Dairy Milk held a special place for him, having grown up with fond memories of the brand. What began as an aspiration eventually turned into a long and fulfilling career, shaped by pride, learning and purpose.
Over the years, Karwal worked closely with colleagues, peers, leaders and mentors who contributed to making his time at Mondelez both rewarding and memorable. He expressed deep gratitude to the teams and individuals who supported him throughout the journey, noting that being associated with Cadbury carried a unique sense of pride that resonated beyond the workplace.
While acknowledging the emotional nature of leaving an organisation that played a significant role in his career, Karwal also expressed excitement about what lies ahead. He has now joined Marico, a company he has long admired for its strong brand portfolio, sales and marketing excellence, clear growth strategy and ambitious outlook.
As he steps into this new role, Karwal looks forward to contributing to Marico’s next phase of growth, carrying forward the learnings and experiences gained during his two-decade-long stint at Mondelez.
