WPP has announced that Andrew Scott will retire as Chief Operating Officer and from the Board at the end of the year. Having joined the company in 1999, Andrew played a pivotal role in WPP’s growth, leading major acquisitions and strategic disposals that shaped its global position in AI, data, and technology. He will work alongside incoming CEO Cindy Rose during the transition and continue as a senior advisor thereafter. Outgoing CEO Mark Read praised Andrew’s three-decade-long contribution, while Andrew expressed gratitude to colleagues and confidence in WPP’s future under new leadership.
