Diageo India has announced the appointment of Tanya Singh as Senior General Manager – Brand Marketing for its flagship Scotch whisky brand, Johnnie Walker.
Singh brings with her over a decade of multifaceted experience in brand management, strategic planning, and consumer marketing across the FMCG, retail, and luxury sectors. Prior to joining Diageo, she spent over eight years at Unilever, where she most recently led the premium makeup portfolio as Brand Lead for Lakmé.
A graduate in marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, Singh also holds a certification in Digital Strategy from Harvard University. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with senior leadership in CXO-facing and PMO roles, driving critical transformation and innovation agendas.
In addition to her tenure at Unilever, Singh has held key positions at Reliance Brands and Raymond, where she was instrumental in shaping premium brand narratives and delivering growth across high-engagement consumer categories.
She announced her new role via LinkedIn, where she expressed enthusiasm about contributing to the legacy and future growth of the Johnnie Walker brand in India.
