MY FM Expands to 44 Stations, Adds 14 New Cities

MY FM, the radio arm of the Dainik Bhaskar Group, has strengthened its national presence by securing licenses for 14 new cities in the Batch III Phase III auction conducted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB). With the highest number of cities awarded in this round, MY FM expands its footprint from 30 to 44 cities across India.

The new additions include Bhilwara, Sri Ganganagar, Pali, Sikar, and Alwar in RajasthanBhuj, Gandhidham, and Daman in Gujarat and the Union Territory respectively; Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, and Ambala in Haryana; and Rewa and Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh. Broadcast operations in these cities are expected to go live by the end of 2025.

Radio remains one of the most trusted and accessible mediums for news, entertainment, and community updates. Its reach and influence, especially among youth audiences, continues to grow steadily.

Since its launch in 2006, MY FM has followed a bottom-up strategy, establishing a stronghold in Tier II and Tier III markets across eight states. Leveraging the Bhaskar Group’s deep local insights, the network has built lasting relationships with its listeners.

Staying true to its brand philosophy, ‘Chalo Achcha Sunte Hain’, MY FM delivers content that resonates with local sensibilities, fostering a deep emotional connection and offering regionally relevant programming.

This expansion marks another significant milestone in MY FM’s journey to becoming India’s leading radio network for Bharat.
