Medanta, India’s premier super-speciality hospital and six-time recipient of Newsweek’s Best Private Hospital award, has unveiled “Jaanta Hai Medanta”, a nationwide initiative aimed at raising awareness, promoting early detection, and empowering action against cancer. The movement underscores Medanta’s commitment to healing, hope, and humanity, offering patients and families reassurance that they are not alone in their fight.
The campaign leverages expert medical guidance, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused storytelling to spotlight different cancers each month, ranging from breast and oral to prostate, thyroid, ovarian, liver, and brain cancers.
Kicking off with breast cancer awareness, the initiative features the short film “Banno Ki Rasm”, which frames monthly self-examinations as a tradition of strength, self-love, and care passed through generations. The film has already garnered over 3 million views on social media. Complementing this, Medanta released a doctor-led video demonstrating self-breast exams in under three minutes, simplifying the process for women nationwide.

To further support learning, Medanta will introduce “Aao Dekho Seekho” kiosks, interactive spaces where women can practice self-exams on simulators under expert guidance. The initiative also includes community activations, sports events, and grassroots campaigns, reaching over 100 communities and 5,000 families.
