BCCI and adidas Unveil Team India’s T20 World Cup 2026 Jersey at Raipur ODI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), in partnership with official kit sponsor adidas, has revealed Team India’s T20 World Cup 2026 jersey during the India–South Africa ODI at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. In a first-of-its-kind reveal format, a life-sized version of the jersey was unfurled on the field, allowing thousands of fans inside the stadium to witness the launch live-turning the moment into a large-scale celebration of Indian cricket.

The new jersey blends modern design and nostalgic elements, drawing from the iconic striped jerseys of the 1990s while retaining the memorable neckline from India’s 2024 T20 World Cup-winning kit. adidas has also integrated performance-driven innovation suitable for India’s warmer playing conditions. The kit features body-mapped 3D mechanical stretch fabric with CLIMACOOL+ technology designed for faster sweat evaporation. Wide perforated 3-stripe tapes and strategically positioned mesh ventilation zones enhance breathability for maximum comfort.

Speaking on the launch, Vijay Chauhan, GM – adidas India, said the jersey represents the legacy of Indian cricket and the passion of millions of fans. He noted that unveiling the design in front of spectators created a fitting connection between the team and its supporters.

Indian cricket captain and adidas athlete Rohit Sharma expressed pride in the new jersey, stating that wearing the national colours is a shared emotional experience-whether cheering from the stands or representing the country on the field.
