Havells has entered the long-form storytelling space with the launch of its new podcast series titled Making a Difference. Designed as a platform for meaningful dialogue, the podcast brings together individuals shaping India’s built environment – including architects, designers, heritage custodians, chefs, wellness experts and cultural innovators. The intent is to create a space where influential voices can discuss their work, inspirations and impact beyond surface-level conversations.
The series aligns with Havells’ deep-rooted role in India’s architecture, design and construction ecosystem. Rather than serving as a promotional extension, the podcast positions the brand as a facilitator of knowledge and community building. Each episode uncovers the mindset, philosophies and motivations driving creative leadership across disciplines.
The debut episode, released on 16 November 2025, features Her Highness Radhikaraje Gaekwad, Maharani of Baroda. The conversation explores the balance between heritage preservation and contemporary relevance, using Lakshmi Vilas Palace as a frame for the discussion. The dialogue also highlights the role of lighting in restoring and reinterpreting historical spaces – an area where Havells has contributed, including illumination at sites such as Humayun’s Tomb and the Old Fort.
A new episode will release monthly, featuring names in food, design, culture and innovation. The podcast is available on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts, supported by social snippets across digital channels.
Havells leaders describe the initiative as a step toward fostering thought leadership and creating a platform where ideas converge and inspire future possibilities.
