TV9 Network Launches the AI² Awards 2026, Celebrating the Future of AI-Powered Storytelling

TV9 Network has announced the launch of the AI² Awards 2026, a pioneering initiative designed to spotlight the convergence of artificial intelligence and human creativity in modern filmmaking. Positioned at the cutting edge of cinematic innovation, the awards aim to inspire creators to explore how AI can amplify imagination and reshape narrative craft.

As AI tools increasingly influence writing, sound design, animation, and visual storytelling, the awards recognise this transformative moment-one where technology strengthens, rather than replaces, the creative voice. The AI² Awards invite students, independent filmmakers, new-age creators, and experimental artists to push boundaries across genres, including music videos, animation, documentaries, and branded narratives.

The initiative underscores a historic shift: storytelling is becoming more democratic. With AI now enabling single creators to build worlds, design characters, and orchestrate complete visual experiences without large teams or budgets, the possibilities for expression are expanding dramatically.

Registrations open on December 8, 2025, and remain live until January 31, 2026. All submissions will be evaluated by a distinguished jury of filmmakers, technologists, and creative leaders in a dedicated jury round scheduled for February 2026 in Mumbai.

Winners will be announced in March 2026 at the WITT–News9 Global Summit in New Delhi, where selected films will be screened before an audience of international innovators. The summit will also feature a special panel on the evolving relationship between AI and artistic expression.

With the AI² Awards 2026, TV9 Network invites creators to shape a new cinematic language-one where art and algorithms work together to expand the horizons of storytelling.
