Zee Entertainment Enterprises has strengthened its regional sports portfolio with a broadcast partnership for the inaugural season of the Kabaddi Champions League (KCL) Haryana, reinforcing its focus on indigenous, grassroots-led sporting properties. The tournament, officially sanctioned by the Amateur Kabaddi Association Haryana, will run from January 25 to February 7, 2026.

As part of the collaboration, KCL Haryana matches will be streamed on Zee5 and telecast across multiple linear channels within the Zee network, including Anmol TV, Zee Yuva, Zee Bollywood, &Pictures HD and Zee Punjabi. Broadcasts will be available in Hindi and select regional languages, ensuring wide accessibility across core kabaddi markets.

The league will feature eight teams representing key districts of Haryana-Karnal Kings, Gurugram Gurus, Rohtak Royals, Faridabad Fighters, Panipat Panther, Sonipat Stars, Bhiwani Bulls and Hisar Heros-spotlighting the state’s deep-rooted kabaddi culture and talent pipeline.

Beyond live match coverage, Zee plans to build a 360-degree viewing experience through exclusive digital content on Zee5, including player and coach interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and city-based storytelling films. The network will also support the league with extensive on-air and digital promotions to drive awareness and engagement.

Zee executives highlighted that the partnership aligns with the company’s strategy of diversifying its sports offerings through regional-first, high-engagement properties that resonate with Bharat’s youth audience. For advertisers, the league offers a culturally rich, high-trust platform to connect with fans in an event-driven environment.

The tournament will also integrate Haryana’s ‘Drug-Free Haryana’ initiative, promoting fitness, discipline and positive youth engagement through sport. With a state-wide trophy tour planned ahead of the opening match, KCL Haryana aims to set a strong foundation for professional kabaddi at the grassroots level.
