Himalaya and RCB Women Shine the Spotlight on Grassroots Talent in Women’s Cricket

Himalaya Wellness has launched a new digital campaign titled Remember Her Face in collaboration with the RCB Women’s team, marking the fourth consecutive year of their partnership. The campaign shifts focus from established stars to young girls training at the grassroots level, highlighting the importance of early recognition, mentorship and support in women’s cricket.

The film features RCB players Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh and Shreyanka Patil interacting with aspiring cricketers during practice sessions and coaching drills. Set in familiar, everyday training environments, the narrative captures moments of guidance and encouragement, underscoring how belief and mentorship play a crucial role long before public recognition or professional success arrives.

Remember Her Face forms part of Himalaya’s 1derwoman Initiative, a long-term programme aimed at improving access to training and building confidence among young girls pursuing cricket across India. The initiative reflects the brand’s commitment to nurturing talent at the earliest stages and creating meaningful impact beyond competitive sport.

Commenting on the collaboration, Rajesh Krishnamurthy, business director – Consumer Products Division, Himalaya Wellness, said the fourth year of association marks an important milestone as women’s cricket in India enters a defining phase. He added that Himalaya remains committed to supporting initiatives that empower young girls and contribute to the sport’s growth.

Ragini Hariharan, marketing director – Beauty & Personal Care, Himalaya Wellness, emphasized that confidence is built early through opportunity, encouragement and belief. Abhishek Ashat, general manager – Beauty & Face Care, noted that the campaign aims to inspire communities to recognize potential early and collectively champion young talent.

From a creative standpoint, Naveen Raman, EVP and head (South) at 82.5 Communications, said the campaign celebrates new faces ready to be seen, supported and remembered, reinforcing the value of early backing in shaping the future of women’s cricket.
