Honeywell Reveals Distinct Brand Identities as Aerospace Spin-Off Approaches

Honeywell has unveiled separate brand identities for its two soon-to-be-independent businesses – Honeywell Technologies and Honeywell Aerospace – ahead of the planned aerospace spin-off scheduled for June 29, 2026.

Honeywell Technologies will continue trading on Nasdaq under the existing ticker HON, positioning itself as a leader in the industrial sector’s transition from automation to autonomy. Its refreshed identity retains the iconic red colour while introducing a broader visual palette, anchored by a modern “HT” monogram built around the concept of “intersections” – representing the convergence of technology, expertise, and innovation.

Honeywell Aerospace, set to trade under the ticker HONA, will emerge as one of the largest publicly traded pure-play aerospace suppliers globally. Its new identity features a stylised “H” and “A” logo, with design cues drawn from the pilot’s view of the horizon at dawn. The sunrise-orange palette and silver accents are intended to evoke both engineering heritage and forward-looking innovation, with a focus on electrification, autonomous flight, and next-generation aviation systems.

Chairman and CEO Vimal Kapur described the moment as “the start of an exciting new era,” emphasising that both identities honour Honeywell’s 140-year legacy while charting independent strategic paths. Honeywell Aerospace CEO Jim Currier echoed this, highlighting the agility and focus that independence will bring.

Both companies will host dedicated Investor Days – Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix on June 3, and Honeywell Technologies in New York on June 11 – where long-term strategies and growth roadmaps will be outlined.
