Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has strengthened its cricket portfolio by securing the exclusive television and digital broadcast rights for the upcoming India A Tri-Nation Series, featuring India A, Sri Lanka A, and Afghanistan A. The tournament will be held in Sri Lanka from June 9 to June 21, 2026.

Under the agreement, SPN will broadcast and livestream all matches across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives, further expanding its presence in the region’s cricket landscape.

The tournament is expected to generate strong interest among fans as it showcases some of the brightest young talents in international cricket. One of the biggest attractions will be 15-year-old batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has earned his maiden India A ODI call-up after a remarkable rise through domestic cricket. Other emerging stars to watch include Priyansh Arya, Ayush Badoni, and Suryansh Shedge.

India A will be led by Tilak Varma, with Ruturaj Gaikwad serving as vice-captain. The squad features a mix of experienced domestic performers and promising youngsters, providing a glimpse into the future of Indian cricket.

The competition will follow a double round-robin format, with each team playing the others twice before the top two sides meet in the final on June 21. Across seven one-day matches, the series will offer valuable international exposure for players aiming to break into senior national teams.

Fans can catch the action live on Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV in five languages-English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The acquisition further reinforces SPN’s commitment to bringing premium cricket content and emerging talent to audiences across the region.
