JioStar, PVR INOX Bring ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 to the Big Screen

JioStar has joined hands with PVR INOX to take the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 to cinema halls across India, marking the country’s first theatrical screening of a live international women’s cricket tournament.

Under the tie-up, select PVR INOX screens will air India’s group-stage fixtures, both semi-finals, and the final, giving cricket fans a large-format alternative to watching on television or streaming platforms.

Ticket prices for the screenings have been set between ₹99 and ₹150. The rollout begins with India’s group-stage matches and will scale up through the tournament, with at least 168 screenings planned across PVR INOX’s nationwide network.

The move is designed to widen the audience base for women’s cricket and build communal viewing moments around the tournament’s biggest matches, combining live action with the big-screen format’s immersive sound and visual experience.

Gautam Dutta, CEO – Revenue & Operations, PVR INOX, said cricket has a unique power to unite people and called the partnership with JioStar a chance to bring the Women’s T20 World Cup to cinemas for the first time. He added that fans nationwide would experience every boundary, wicket and match-winning moment in a stadium-like atmosphere, calling the collaboration a tribute to the rising passion and fandom around women’s cricket.

The partnership also fits into JioStar’s wider strategy of boosting engagement for women’s cricket by extending marquee sporting events into community and public viewing formats.

Tickets for the screenings will be sold via the PVR INOX website and mobile app.
