Ahead of Beautyverse 2026, Amazon India has unveiled a 180-minute projection mapping activation on Mumbai’s Bandra-Worli Sea Link, transforming the cable-stayed bridge into a large-scale visual canvas for its upcoming beauty event.
Held on the evening of 19 June, the activation served as a countdown to Beautyverse 2026, scheduled for 20 June. The projection featured beauty-themed visuals – lipsticks, makeup brushes, and event branding – splashed across the landmark structure.
The activation is designed to position beauty discovery as a cultural moment rather than a purely retail proposition. By taking the campaign beyond the event venue and into a public, highly visible space, Amazon aims to celebrate self-expression, creativity and the evolving beauty landscape in India.
Beautyverse 2026 will bring together 70 beauty brands and over 600 creators, including Parul Gulati, Mrunal Panchal and Sushant Divgikar. The event will also see appearances from celebrities such as Sonakshi Sinha, Ananya Panday, Karisma Kapoor, Sameera Reddy, Jacqueline Fernandez, Maheep Kapoor, Mira Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty.
Positioned as a platform for beauty discovery, engagement and brand interaction, the event is expected to draw media, Prime members and beauty enthusiasts alike.
By turning one of Mumbai’s most iconic infrastructure landmarks into a beauty storytelling canvas, Amazon signals a broader shift in how e-commerce platforms are using public spectacle and large-format visual experiences to build anticipation – moving brand activation from screens into the city itself.
