Tata Starbucks and protein food brand SuperYou have expanded their collaboration with the launch of two new protein-based beverages, as brands continue tapping into rising consumer demand for functional food and beverages.
The latest offering introduces Vanilla Protein Cold Foam and Mango Protein Cold Foam, each delivering up to 18 grams of protein. Both beverages will be available at Starbucks stores across India as part of the brands’ ongoing partnership.
This launch builds on an earlier collaboration between the two companies, which first introduced protein-enhanced coffee beverages at Starbucks outlets.
According to the companies, the new beverages are designed for consumers looking to add more protein to their daily diets through products they already enjoy, reflecting growing demand for functional beverages that combine nutrition with convenience.
Actor and SuperYou co-founder Ranveer Singh features in the campaign supporting the launch. Speaking on the collaboration, Singh said coffee has long been part of his daily routine, and described the addition of protein cold foam to Starbucks’ Iced Shaken Espresso as an option that brings together taste and added nutrition in one cup.
The launch comes at a time when protein-enriched products continue to gain traction across categories including beverages, snacks, and desserts. Brands are increasingly introducing high-protein alternatives that let consumers boost their nutritional intake without significantly altering their existing consumption habits.
With this expansion, Starbucks and SuperYou aim to deepen their footprint in India’s growing functional beverage space, positioning protein-forward coffee as an everyday, accessible choice for health-conscious consumers.
