The offering bundles an ad-free YouTube experience, offline downloads, background play and YouTube Music Premium with 30GB of additional data.
Bharti Airtel has partnered with YouTube to extend YouTube Premium benefits to its prepaid customers through a ₹200 OTT top-up, expanding the telecom operator’s entertainment offering.
The benefit includes an ad-free viewing experience across YouTube, including Shorts, along with background play and the option to download content for offline viewing. Subscribers will also get access to YouTube Music Premium, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The new offering adds to Airtel’s existing digital entertainment portfolio, which features services such as Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5 Premium, SonyLIV and more than 18 other OTT platforms.
Alongside the entertainment benefits, the ₹200 top-up provides 30GB of additional data. It is available to Airtel prepaid customers who have an active recharge across existing prepaid plans.
To activate the YouTube Premium benefit, customers need to purchase the top-up and claim the offer through the ‘Rewards & OTTs’ section of the Airtel app.
The entertainment benefits remain valid for 28 days, matching the validity period of the top-up. Customers can purchase the pack again after expiry to continue accessing the benefits.
The partnership strengthens Airtel’s bundled-content strategy by bringing a widely used video platform into its prepaid offerings. For YouTube, the association provides another route to reach users through a telecom partner, while Airtel adds another digital entertainment benefit to its prepaid proposition.
