Asian Paints has unveiled its latest campaign, ‘Rang Hi Asli Pata Hai’, celebrating a uniquely Indian habit of identifying homes by their colours rather than their addresses. As part of the initiative, the brand has partnered with Zomato to bring this everyday cultural insight to life while reinforcing its Colour Warranty proposition.

The campaign is built on the observation that long before digital maps became commonplace, Indians often navigated neighbourhoods using colourful landmarks-whether it was the blue house near the temple or the yellow bungalow at the corner. Asian Paints believes these colours have become lasting identifiers, thanks to the durability of its paints.

To extend the idea beyond advertising, the company has integrated colour-based home identifiers into the Zomato delivery experience for a limited period. The feature will be rolled out across nearly four million orders over 15 days, helping delivery partners identify homes using their colours alongside traditional address details.

The campaign film follows a Zomato delivery partner who receives directions from residents using the colours of nearby houses instead of street names or house numbers. The storytelling reflects a familiar behaviour seen across cities, towns and villages, where colours often serve as the easiest way to recognise a location.

Conceptualised with White Rivers Media, the campaign blends cultural storytelling with technology to highlight the role of colour in everyday life.
