AGEasy Partners With Anupam Kher To Reframe Elderly Caregiving

A new campaign is asking Indian families to rethink what caring for elderly parents really looks like. AGEasy, the D2C arm of Antara Senior Care under the Max Group, has launched a digital campaign featuring veteran actor Anupam Kher, built around the line “Taaki Aapki Fikr, Unki Freedom Ke Beech Na Aae.”

The campaign challenges a very Indian instinct, the urge to do everything for ageing parents, arguing that true care means preserving their independence instead. Through a series of light-hearted family films, Kher plays out familiar moments where relatives rush to help, only to be met with a firm “Main kar lunga.” What starts as a running gag builds into a statement about dignity and self-reliance.

Ishaan Khanna, CEO of Antara Assisted Care Services, said the campaign was born from the idea that seniors need support systems, not substitutes, and that Kher was chosen because his own active lifestyle embodies that philosophy. Kher echoed this, drawing on his experience caregiving for his mother to explain why stepping back with trust, rather than stepping in, can be the deeper form of love.

The campaign is live across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn, alongside platforms like MX Player, JioHotstar, and Inshorts.

AGEasy has built its identity around senior-first product design, developing patented solutions across fall prevention, joint care, lung care, diabetes management, gut health, and general wellness, aimed at helping older adults manage chronic conditions independently.
