Each Football Meal comes bundled with a limited-edition McDonald’s x Coca-Cola football collectible, aimed at capturing the communal energy fans bring to game-day viewing.
A McDonald’s India (West & South) spokesperson said watching football in large groups is a cultural phenomenon unlike any other, adding that the brand’s long-standing partnership with Coca-Cola India allows them to make game-day traditions more fun, staying true to their “Let’s Family at McD” philosophy of bringing people closer through shared moments.
A Coca-Cola India spokesperson echoed the sentiment, noting that football fans don’t just watch the game, they build an entire occasion around it with friends and family. They added that the collaboration, which extends the brands’ decades-long association, brings something fresh to the “Let’s Family at McD” narrative through a collectible fans can hold onto as a lasting memory.
The Football Meal is priced from ₹349 on the McDonald’s App for dine-in and takeaway, and from ₹749 on McDelivery, Swiggy, and Zomato, with prices exclusive of taxes, across West and South India.
The campaign taps into football season as an occasion-driven marketing moment, leaning on the brands’ shared legacy to turn a routine meal into a collectible-driven, shareable experience for fans across the region.
